GOVERNMENT ASSET MANAGEMENT UNIT

Introduction
Government Asset Management Unit (UPAK) PTSB is established for the purpose of managing all Government Assets as well as managing the PTSB Store efficiently in accordance with the rules set out in 1PP.

Asset Management
Government Asset Management is the management of Tangible and Intangible Assets.

Functions / Roles

  • Ensure that all assets that are categorized as Capital Assets and Low Value Assets are registered and recorded in the Asset Management System (SPA).
  • Managing the appointment of Asset Inspection Officers, Disposal Board, Investigation Committee and Store Verification.
  • Coordinates Quarterly Reports for the Government Asset Management Committee Meetings every three months.
  • Prepare and submit the Government Asset Management Executive Report to the Treasury of Malaysia before March 15 next year.
